Some of the ways we gather at F.C.C.:
- Sunday Morning Services in our beautiful historic sanctuary;
- Spiritual Book Group;
- Lenten season Wednesday evening soup supper followed by a Music & Meditation service;
- Jazz Vespers (read a recent ‘mention’ here);
- Music in the sanctuary, featuring its famed pipe organ, well-known organist, with our choir or the Joyful Noise praise band;
- Special events, like the September 2018 showing of A Fertile River, a new play by Playwright Vincent Terrell Durham and FaceIt Theater.
- Co-hosting or co-sponsoring events, such as the Interspiritual Conference co-sponsored by F.C.C. and Binghamton University and held in F.C.C.s historic sanctuary.

Connecting & Sharing With Our Community …
The people of First Congregational Church express our welcome and generosity of spirit in many ways throughout the weeks and months of any given year.
Here are a couple of ways we connect and share with our fellow Binghamtonians:
- Serving up free popcorn & hot chocolate at the St. Patrick & Columbus Day parades,
- Super Giveaway of warm clothing on super bowl Sunday,
- Annual Rummage & Thrift Sale in the Autumn (both Eco-conscious and budget-conscious!),
- Ice Cream Social and school Supplies Give-away in August for the neighborhood (the most recent here),
- Holiday Turkey food baskets to increase the number of local families enjoying a holiday meal,
- Christmas gifts to “adopted” families to share our blessings during the holiday,
- We offered lodging and facilities for volunteer groups that came for flood recovery work.
… and more.
